Services We Provide

Here at Wood Green Timber Co. we have a range of services available to you, as shown below:

Cutting

We offer a cut to size service at both our Wood Green and Potters Bar branches. To ensure you are not disappointed, you should contact us ahead of time to ensure we can cut any products for you. Our cutting facility is limited and our capabilities offered at either depot are listed below:

• Wood Green - in our Wood Green store, we are only able to cut sheet materials to size. We CANNOT cross cut any timbers to length. If you require a piece of timber reduced in the width e.g. your timber is 150mm wide and you need it reduced to 130mm, then this is also a service we can provide, but we must stress we DO NOT cut to length.
• Potters Bar - in our Potters Bar store, we have a range of machinery that can make life easier for you. We have a bench saw, a band saw and a cross cutting saw. Using these machines we can produce made-to-measure orders bespoke to you.

If you have placed an order on our website for any sheet materials but would like them cut to size, please email your measurements ASAP to charlie@woodgreentimber.com to ensure we can prepare your order to meet your delivery or collection requirements.

1-1 Customer Service

We try to give you the best experience possible when visiting one of our stores. Our team are trained and knowledgable on most products we sell and can recommend or point you in the right direction for what you might need to do the job at hand, whether a confident builder looking for the best sealant, or  DIYer looking for the best timber for a shelf, but it does help to have an idea of what you're looking for!
Although we try to offer a 1-1 service, on the occasion we're having a busy day or short staffed, we'll always do our best to make your visit easy, and stress free. We'll even help you load your vehicle!

Delivery & Collections

We offer a great delivery/collection service from both our branches (Click & Collection currently unavailable from our Potters Bar store). For more information on this please see our Delivery & Collections section.

Price Matching

We always try to give you best deal possible and our best prices are usually displayed on our website, however, if you've got a large job on the go, need a bulk order of materials, and have a cheaper price from one of our competitors, we'll always try our best to match their price. Please know that this is not always possible though.
